Hi there.

I am allmost ready to order a synology DS213J.

But i am worried that i will buy the wrong harddrive.

I made some research, but i got myself a bit confused.

Would some of you had some advice or experience with what you would choose or are using, it would be great! :) Thanks.

And please tell me, that im buying the right product instead of a Western Digital Nas drive ;)

Okay, good to hear. Yes, i saw that list - but there is so many, and i don't want to choose the wrong one (such as: too much noise, and/or not made for NAS or to slow.

I prefer WD's warranty process over Seagate's otherwise imo the drive quality is comparable. WD Red and Seagate Nas are on the list. Also on the list are the enterprise grade entry level drives WD RE series and Seagate Constellation ES (5yr warr instead of the 3yr on the Red/Nas drives)
