I built this computer and it is having issues when it goes into sleep mode or I am playing a game like WoW/Diablo. Computer goes into sleep mode and won't come out so I restart and it states at bios start up that overclocking failed, problem is I have never overclocked it.... When gaming it will completely shut itself off like someone threw the power switch. restart and it will restart no error message. I have updated all drivers etc... I have even taken it in to a microcenter to a technician (I say technician with a grain of salt as I knew more then he seemed to and I am just knowledgeable enough to know I don't know enough to fix this problem) and his only suggestion was to send it to their repair center for a large sum of cash.... Any ideas from the experts here on what I might try prior to

Solution
There is a few ways to fix this. First check the processor clock speed that it is currently clocked at. Make sure that it is at its original clocked speed of 3.6GHz. If not then go into BIOS and change it to original settings.

If it is at its original clocked speed, then try tuning it down to 3.4GHz.

I have the same cooling unit as you do and I can overclock from 3.8GHz to 4.6GHz with no problem.
