As for the card, video editing is pretty much exclusively a CUDA based world.....Although the new Adobe Suite supports Open CL...

Wouldn't really recommend overclocking Haswell on a stock cooler and you can probably get cheaper memory.

It really depends on cost and what programs you're using. If you're using CUDA based programs Nvidia is the obvious choice.

On June 17, 2013 Adobe released a new version of Premiere. It is called Premiere CC. The only way to get this new version is to rent it. That's right, you have to rent it month by month on an annual contract.

Adobe will NOT be offering their software where you could purchase it and use it for as long as you like or until you decided to upgrade to the next version. This was call a perpetual license. The perpetual license will NOT be available on the new version of Adobe software.

Its probably because of the above that there's a dearth of comparisons between the two but so far, the long time users are still leaning CUDA.
