Hello,

I've had my PC for a couple of weeks and I just never thought to ask what the LED numbers/letters on the motherboard mean. So, what do they mean?

Thanks.

Look in the manual .... the codes are of no concern if the system boots, numbers will flash by as it goes thru each test or process..... when it fails, the last code remains displayed.

Back in prehistoric days we had beeps..

Again, look in ya manual for a description of the more common display codes.

They are POST codes. POST stands for Power-On Self Test. Each code corresponds to a different test. If one test fails, the machine will stop with that particular code displayed. You can then look up the code in the motherboard's manual and find out what is failing.
