Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo good enough for 4.3Ghz

I am going to be building a PC soon, and have gone with the intel core i7 4770k processor. I want to do some moderate overclocking to around 4.3Ghz. (more or less) The CPU fan I have chosen is the Hyper 212 Evo from Cooler Master. My friend informed me it might not be good enough for that type of overclocking, so I turn to you guys. Is the Hyper 212 Evo good enough for around 4.3Ghz overclock or should I look for a new CPU fan?

maybe, maybe not. depends on the fab your 4770 came from.

basically the problem haswell has is there is a gap of air between the heatspreader and the thermal paste intel uses on thier chips. that airbubble acts like an insulating blanket basically rendering most cpu cooling fairly ineffective (better cpu coolers seem to have only minor effects on the haswell's top overclocking limits, because the problem isn't the cpu cooler but getting the heat from the chip to the cpu cooler)

depending on the size of that airbubble your chip might not even be able to clock up past it's turbo clock of 4ghz. So the answer i'm giving you is, it might be good enough... and it might not.

if i was dropping 3 bills on a 4770 i think i'd find another...

I would go with water cooling my system, it's just I am not too familiar with water cooling. I guess I will do a little research into that and see if it's worth it.

Do you know of a good guide/tutorial that goes in detail of water cooling? From what I have seen so far, water cooling seems to be a better option.
