Hey guys,

There is the thing: I run Kingston HyperX Beast 1600 2x4 RAM CL9-9-9 1,65V XMP

But basicaly in mobos optimized defaults it runs on 1600 11-11-11 CL 1,5V

I have tried to turn on XMP, and then timings were 1600 9-9-9 CL 1,65V, but it didnt run stable. Any ideas what to do? I have tried turn on XMP timings manualy, but it didnt work.

I run FX-8350
Gigabyte GA-990XA-UD3

Thanks for replay. You mean CPU/NB Voltage? Or Mhz?

Ok, I have found some solution. I uped RAM voltage from 1.65 to 1.8 memtest86+ passed well, now i'm doing and prime95 test. NB temps about 82 C. Any comments about frying RAM??

Next question folks :) After some google, i have discovered, that 1600 speed ram must have 2400 mhz of NB frequenncy. But, the thing is that by default my mobo runs at 1600-11-11-11 cl, 1,5v ram and 2200 mhz of NB. When I uped RAM voltage to 1.8 v, I could run 1600-9-9-9 cl stable.
Question is do I have to make nb to 2400 mhz?? And if I do, the question is how?

Forget XMP, Manually set the memory voltage to 1.65v with timings at 1600mhz 9,9,9,24 and use the command rate of 2T or 2N (on some motherboards it is listed as N), do not use 1T.

Thnx, and how about NB freq?? default 2200 or rise to 2400??

You leave that on Auto unless you're high multiplier overclocking and you have not mentioned a word related to overclocking so leave it alone.

Please post your exact Kingston module specs, specifically model #, timings on the modules everything?

Kingston released multiple modules in the Hyper X Beast line, what exactly do you have in hand?

No, no overclock. Kingston Beast 8 gb 1600 mhz is only one modification.

I have tried your advice, no luck. 2T doesnt work out with 1.65 v
