This is going to be my very first build and I am very anxious and worried at the same time. My budget is $1200. Personally I'm worried about RMAs, faulty parts, incompatible parts, or me messing the build up. Please analyze my build and let me know if there are any compatibility issues, combo possibilities, bad part selections, better choices, better deals (same quality), etc.

FYI, my build is entirely done on Newegg.com.

This is my build:

And thank you, in advance, for any and all constructive replies.

How is it not great? I researched it quite a bit and people rated both components very high.

For a $1200 build, you could do a lot better.

1). The FX-8150 isn't Vishera, it's already outdated and any FX-83## will outperform it.
2). If you go for an FX-8150, you won't need the motherboard you posted. I'd go for a $80 motherboard with that CPU.
3). For the budget, your GPU is terrible. It'll only just run games like Crysis 3, and that's on LOW settings. Hell, I doubt it'd run it at all.
4). You don't need a PLATINUM CERTIFIED PSU. That's just wasting money.
5). If you're gaming, you'll only need 8GB of RAM.

What kind of game performance increase would I get with your choices over my choices?
