I will be overclocking an i5-4670K for a minimum of 4.2 GHz to a maximum of 4.5 GHz, how much watts do I need for it? Also my VGA is a Zotac GTX 770 AMP!

Thanks! :)

Both 80+ Gold and Platinum rated PSUs are incredibly efficient and even at idle, the fan doesn't spin, because little energy is expelled as heat. This gives the advantage of a silent PSU and saving money on energy bills. It's your pick as both units are of amazing quality, but to be safe, buy the 760W, as that'll give room for upgrades in the future.

A 550w PSU would be absolutely fine. If you're unsure, go for a 650w PSU - they're not a huge amount more and will pay dividends if you want to add extra stuff to your computer.

Make sure you don't skimp on the PSU though. A £15 700w PSU might sound like a good deal, but not when it blows up your expensive hardware. Spend the extra money getting a good, (at least) 80% Efficient PSU from a trusted brand and you should never encounter a problem.

Hmm, I was thinking about the Seasonic P760 (760W), or should I pick the P660 to do the job? :)

Also, will there any be a difference when I choose the 80+ Platinum over the 80+ Gold? :)

Thanks! But, is it worth the extra money for the platinum? :)
