Fairly recently our internet connection has been acting quite strange. This includes the following:
1. Internet connectivity but maybe 2/5 sites won't load.
2. A lot of files that I try download won't even start downloading. Chrome just has a notification down the bottom saying 'Sending request...'
3. I can't use any kind of online game / application e.g. Pokerstars. It seems like the startup application endlessly tries to establish a connection with the server.
I've totally reset our Linksys WAG325N router to factory settings, set it up according to our ISP's settings (Slingshot in New Zealand) but I'm having the same problems. What could be causing such problems? Old modem / router? Or something on the ISP's end? I'll probably give my ISP a call but is there anything I could try before that?
