I have a MICRO-STAR INTERNATIONAL (MS-7501) motherboard with onboard vga and would like to expand the desktop to support three monitors. There are 2 PCI, 1 PCI-E, 1 PCI-E 16 slots available (http://static.compusa.com/pdf/MSI_K9A2GM_Series_Manual....). This will not be used primarily for gaming, mainly just basic windows/office functions.

Would the easiest thing be to just add a PCI-E video card that supports dual monitors to give me three video outs (counting the onboard)

or...

should I do two PCI video cards giving me the capability of 4 video outs (even though only 3 will be used) and is SLI required?

Haven't built my sys yet but will soon and likely will buy two of those.
