I Messed Up My WiFi and I Don't Know What I Did (but I need help)

So I was trying to access my WEP key for my Netgear WNR1000 wireless router by searching 192.168.1.1 and going to the wireless communications page. I realized I had a WPA connection and not a WEP so stupidly I tried to convert it to WEP and I thought it was that easy. But, I got kicked off the Internet and I didn't write down the key. Please any help will do.

  1. Connect to the router with an Ethernet cable. Then you should be able to log into the admin console of your router and change it back.
  2. Why are you converting WPA to WEP, WEP is barely better than no security at all. WPA isn't perfect but it is a lot better than WEP.

Going good, I can connect again but I get a Limited Connection Error message every time and I can't use to my own Internet (currently using neighbor's). What can I do to fix the limited connection error?
