Hello everyone!
I have a good knowledge of computers and components. But I do have some questions about a system I am considering buildings. If anyone could answer and or break down my build for me that would be great. I am probably going to go for a build from Ibuypower.com but through Walmart as I work there and receive a 10% discount. My list of components for this build are:
Case: CoolerMaster HAF 922 Gaming Case(this may change)

Motherboard: MSI 970A-G43(I don't really have the option to pick another board
also hoping to at some point add another gfx)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130679
CPU/Processor: AMD FX-8350 CPU(I want the 4 ghz 8 core)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819113284
Ram: 16GB Kit (2 x 8GB) DDR3 SDRAM Memory Module(subjective)
Harddrive: 120GB SSD+1TB HDD Combo(I want the SSD(for games) and storage)
GFX: NVIDIA GTX 760 2GB GDDR5 Graphics Card(subjective)
Operating System:
Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium, 64-Bit Edition(Non-negotiable i hate win 8)
Anyway. My questions are: I have the opportunity to get a GFX NVIDIA GTX 760 with 4gb dedicated VRAM or 16gb system ram. I am trying to figure out which would be the better route to go. A GFX with 4 gb vram and 8 gb system ram or a GFX with 2 gb vram and a system memory of 16 gb?
What I am not sure of is; does the gfx use free system ram to to run itself? Is it beneficial to have more vram on a card and less system ram or more system ram and less vram?
I am trying to build a system that will need limited upgrading over the next 3-5 years. This system is pricing out to $1,216 with extra fans added in and my discount isn't applied yet which is another 120 or so dollars. If I am making mistakes somewhere please tell me. Unfortunately my budget for a system is about $1,200 and that is pushing it.
