I just built my new rig with these parts;

Intel i5 3570k lga 1155
Asus p8Z77-v lk
Corsair hx 650
Cooler master Evo 212
Western digital 1TB caviar black

I put my build together and have everythig in the case and good to go, but my bios says that my only SATA connected storage Device is a 0.0GB hdd. I was wondering it this was a HDD malalfinction? Or some dumb user error I doing? Is there drivers that need to be updated or what?

Note: I am trying to install windows 7 home premium 64bit

I would appreciate and comments, and helpful tips! If I need to RMAy hard drive please tell me ASAP!

Ill try a different power connector on the psu in a bit when I get home. And I tried almost all of the Sata ports, does it need to be in one of the 2 grey Sata ports? Or one of the four blue ones?

I'm new to building computers, so please excuse me if I sound "Noobish". Is there any other settings I need to change on my bios? Or any drivers that need to be updated?

Yeah! It turns out the drive is bad internally. DOB's are more common than I though apparently. Anyways, I got windows installed, and everything's going great! Thank you guys!
