Good Day all,
I recently picked up a Sabertooth Z87, Intel i7 4770k, and 16GB Corsair Vengeance 1600MHz CL9 Memory (4x4GB) as well as a new GPU: Gigabyte Radeon HD7970 GHZ edition.
These were to upgarde existing components (Everything was working 100% fine before the new parts)
After getting everything setup and windows installed Ive been having some pretty strange yet frequent issues.
First issue which is the biggest one and it's really starting to bother me is that Windows has been acting up. Every time I click the mouse, open a window or pretty much do anything windows will lock up for a couple of seconds and then resume. This issue happens very often and in fact there have only been a few times where the system seemed "normal"
The second issue is that sometimes there will be no display on boot. Turn the PC on and the screen stays black, no post, no blinky cursor, nothing, just sits. Manually restarting usually fixes this.
I have also taken a few troubleshooting steps but still having the issues.
Things i have done:
Restarted PC
Cold boot (power down, turn off PSU, wait a minute, reboot)
Set XMP mode in BIOS
Removed and tested every individual RAM Module.
Reseated the GPU
Re-installed windows 4 times (yes... 4 times)
I'm really not sure whats going on but any advice or help would be great.
