Hello guys, i'm new here! So, i have a problem. I installed Win7 about 1 year ago and decided to reinstall my windows, okay i thought, why not. And i Instaled Win 7 from the Desktop, with running windows, okay everything went fine except the space of my Hard. I have 125GB free of 931 GB. And then i realized, that i need to reinstall again while turning on computer, with CD/DVD Boot. I did CD/DVD boot and i got this message "reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key" i tried a lot of ways, in case trying to change IDE to AHCI, tried to unplug my Hard and plug it again, nothing worked well, still have the same problem. Now i'm very confused, i tried to fix it about 6 hours..
My pc specs:
Hard : SATA Hitachi HDS 72101
Video card : Geforce Gtx 560 SE
Processor : AMD Bulldozer FX serijos 6100
Please respond! I'm very confused.

To run windows setup with your motherbd in AHCI mode you need amd's preinstallation driver available to load on a usb or optical disk which you can find here in the sata section:
http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/M5A97_R20/#support_Dow...

You will probably want to have most of those drivers donwnload and availble also. Chipset, GPU, Lan, Audio, usb, and the hotfix (for your cpu)

To reinstall windows also be sure to set the boot drive so that the optical disk is first. When you get to the screen that asks where to install windows to, click the link to load addtional drivers and then load the preinstall driver.

yes you definitely want to set the sata mode to AHCI mode.

After you install windows the drivers should be the next thing to load. I always use the order I listed them in (above) to install them. After all the drivers are install its time for (to install) Antivirus and then windows updates

So you are trying to say, that if i install all that stuff, i won't get an error " reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key" ? And whatis "preinstallation driver"? And maybe you can write step by step what to do, cause i'm kinda confused. Thanks a lot for quick response.

which exact motherbd do you have? I had link the drivers for an asus m5a97 but you have removed it from your original post so I suspect that this is not the motherbd you have. We need the correct motherbd model# and revision# if possible.

Your drivers are here, Skipping the Raid pre-install driver Be sure to download the remaining 4 of them to a usb drive or burn them to disk. Pay attention to what each one was named or write them down.

Re-reading your initial post I think you are not able to boot off of your windows disk.
Do you get to the part where windows install asks you where you want to install to?
