I was thinking on buying an MSI GTX 770 Gaming instead of a GTX 760 since my budget sort of increased. However it's not enough to buy a new PSU (also I just bought this one) which is a Cooler Master 500w PSU, that for some reason I can't find it on the internet, and according to the PSU calculator in theory I can run it. The problem is that I'm running my EAH6770 off of a single 6 Pin connector and I'll need 2x 8-pin. My idea is to plug in one of them as normal and the other one to a Molex to 6-pin. Not a good idea, but will it work or will it blend?

Thanks!

I found the PSU this one. Apparently a little bit of research doesn't hurt!

First thing , NO PSU wont even power up a GTX 660 , forget the GTX 770. Your PSU is much of a crap , so I say look for my guide below , it will help you to pick a perfect PSU. Second , Never use Molex for powering anything above a HDD , Fan or small adapter or a custom loop part. Molex in most cases goes unstable if the draw is too high. IMHO look for any 650W-750W PSU from the given series in my guide below.

If anyone's answer helps you , please select it as the solution for your thread.
