How does this stack up

Windows 8 (if that makes a difference lol)

CPU: i7 3770k overclocked to 4.5ghz
GPU: AMD HD 7950 3GB (MSI Twin Frozr 3)
RAM: 8GB Kingston Hyper X Extreme Ram 1600mhz
HDD: 120gb Intel 520 SSD and 500GB Black WD HD
Motherboard asrock Z75 Pro 3
Cooler: Coolermaster hyper 212 EVO
Case: NZXT Source 210 Elite mid tower case.
Power Supply: 700 watt modular power supply.
DVD drive: Asus DVD burner drive.

Im wondering if there are any potentials for a bottleneck or other issue.
My main concern is running arma 2/3 in multiplayer.

Btw, I purchased this already so please don't suggest I get an i5 instead or a gtx500000 etc. I'm stuck with this setup (which I'm hoping is a good thing) for awhile. Possible future upgrades may include more ram, higher psu, and more advanced mobo.

Should I expect nice results with this rig?

A quality 550W PSU would run that rig; what "700W" PSU did you get?
Otherwise, especially since you already have it, I'm not going to suggest any changes. Just be sure the PSU is of sufficient quality.

Everything loks good, but like the other poster, I am curious as to what brand of Power supply is installed. It sounds like a custom build, so it should be alright, but as i said, I'm curious. The PSU is probably the most critical thing in there and not something to "cheap out" on.

Hmmm, seems to me those reviewed well, but may have cheap capacitors in them. Try to keep it cool, with plenty of airflow through it, and it should be fine.

Aside from a monitoring program telling me the temps... How would I know if the psu is not adequate or failing

The three main things I normally upgrade are the Ram, CPU, and Video Card. Once I have reached the limits of the motherboard, then it is wait until the next gen comes out.

That PSU is of sufficient capacity that it should last fairly well, even if its capacity degrades as it ages. If you decide you want to replace it anyway, something like a Seasonic X-650 would be a nice choice.
