My price range is: 700-800
Date to purchase: this week, ( Thursday night to be exact, pay-day)

Due for a new pc. I’m in search of a new pc. At first I just wanted to purchase a pre-build at tigersdirect but someone has suggested me to check out this site and maybe consider in building one, because I get more bang for the buck. I’m not nearly computer literate but I think I can follow instructions in youtube or any other tutorial sites. I currently playing Diablo 3 and FF reborn, and would also like to expand my computer collections. My current PC is slow, outdated, and I get constant Freeze.
Ive been checking out the sticky's for Best configs but I also want to post to see what kind of suggestions I can get from the community.
Thanks in advance.

Can you go $820? This build can overclock and eventually crossfire.

The best CPU you can get for a gaming machine is an Intel's Core i5, you won't get extra performance going for i7, so it is the smart choice (Even more in that tight budget). Since it looks like you are not a Overclock fan, avoiding 'K' model will save you some money too.

If you are not going to make any overclock, you can also avoid all chipsets that offer you that option. For example 'H77' is a good option.

Also, don't go for more than 8GB RAM, since games won't benefit from that.
