I'm struggling to get a bootable USB that I can use for windows installs. I keep getting I/O device errors. I have a verbatim Tuff n Tiny.

My friend had a fully working bootable windows install usb and I opened his drive up in windows explorer and copied and pasted them to my desktop. Can someone outline plain and easy steps that I can replicate his bootable drive from here?

I used that first but it always errors out saying check device or iso file (really narrows it down). I've tried rufus and it errors with I/O device something error. And even when I tried formatting thru cmd and just copying the files on it will stop at a file where you can try again or skip and again it will say something about an interface device error. I've tried different ports including USB 2 and 3.

Yep I've used power iso but I always get I/O device error like my flash drive is not compatible or corrupt. I've formatted it through diskpart and tried all these things guys, I just dont know if it is my drive or not. I'm gonna pick up a new USB drive next week and let u guys know how I make out with that. Thanks guys!!!
