Alright you nerds!

I need some advice on transporting a computer, I'm travelling from Norway to England. I have a HAF XB and one detail in particular is concerning me somewhat, I have a Phanteks PH-TC14PE CPU cooler, let me save you the hassle of googling it... it's heavy and large.

Have you transported a computer before?
What experiences have you had transporting, did you use a postal service or did you bring it along as baggage when you took the flight?
Did you disassemble anything?

Solution
I'd remove that cooler. Neither postal services nor airline baggage handlers are known for gentleness.
If possible, put it in the box the case came in.

If I were driving and had it in my possession the whole time, I'd just lay it down in the car. But once out of your hands, someone will drop it.

I guess I was kind of gravitating towards this. I guess I better go check that guide on thermal compound removal. I think I'll just pull out the CPU cooler and the video card. I do still have the package it came in and I was saving it for this occasion, now I just gotta go find that tube of TIM that came with it.

Thanks for the quick reply.
