The end user, a high school junior, has saved up $400 so far. He wants to record games and audio, and post youtube videos. He plays Skyrim, Assassins Creed, and the like. I realize he can get an pre-built HP or an Acer for about what he has saved now, that will not perform as well as the list above, but he wants to try a build. My list above priced at about $610 and offers at least some increased capability over the $400 pre-built machines. The sky is not the limit. But, how's my compatibility and balance?

My 1st build, which I'm still using, is: HAF X, Sabertooth P67 mobo, Core i5-2500K, Antec 25 Kuhler H2O, 16GB Corsair Vengeance, 2 x MSI N560-GTX SLI, Samsung 830 256GB SSD, Seagate Momentus XT 500GB, Cooler Master 1000W SPG, blue LEDs, 2 x Samsung SyncMaster 245B
