in cpu intense games you will face a quite big bottleneck, but it decreases as the game gets more gpu intense and depends on the resolution you are playing. generall >1080p you should be ok in most games, <1080p i think it will be quite a waste of money.

Depends on the games you play but in generally I would say not too much. Make sure your PSU can handle it though :O
