how to connect aspire one 725-0687 to my wifi?

I can get the netbook to show its running wifi connections, & even says connected but will not search or open browser. unless connected through ethernet cable... my internet services has a wireless router built in & all other devices have no issue connecting...

Sometimes malware causes this. First, try reloading the driver for your wireless card. You can get it from Acer's site; the support page with the downloads for your aspire.

If reinstalling the wireless driver does not work, then you can try this utility: http://www.softpedia.com/get/Internet/Other-Internet-Related/Complete-Internet-Repair.shtml - after you've installed it, be sure to check each item when you run it; reboot after it's done, and see what happens. :)

If that fails, then you may need to have a virus scan performed.
