7950 or GTX 680 - similar prices

Hey all, been looking to upgrade recently.

Was pretty set on getting a 7950 for £180, however I've just found an MSI GTX 680 for £200.

My main interest is gaming, which one would be more suitable?

Thanks for the quick reply. I did have a look at charts etc beforehand but was unsure how much those numbers really worth when comparing GPUs.

Here is a comparison. When you get down to the games like Crysis 3, Far Cry 3 and Battlefield 3 you see the 680 really gain an advantage. I'd go for the 680 at that price for sure!

Wow there are some significant differences there for £20 more!

So just to be sure before I order this - it's the 2GB version, not 4GB. Would that make any difference for gaming or is it unrelated?

The 2GB version is what you want. The 4GB would only be useful for a 3 monitor setup. You will not be disappointed!
