I recently bought a DIY computer bundle from newegg, and I am wondering if the Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1866MHz RAM is compatible with the processor which is an Intel Core i5 3350P Ivy Bridge 3.1GHz. It says the integrated memory controller speed is Dual-channel DDR3 1333/1600 and I am wondering if the RAM will automatically down clock, and if it doesn't, how would I go about manually setting the RAM to run at 1600MHz?
