After countless trips to the store vendor, that sold me memory meant for intel, I'm stuck with atleast trying to optimize mine. Here are my system specs:

(BTW I had my processor set at 4ghz but set everything back to default to get my memory in check)

Motherboard
ASUS M5A99X EVO R2.0
Processor
AMD FX-8320
Memory ( )
CMP16GX3M4X1600C7
Video Card # 1
Gigabyte GeForce GTX 770
Hard Drive #
OCZ-VERTEX3 256

I have tried editing timings for 9-9-9-24, but confused with how XMP timing etc are working as intended. This is my first post, so not sure about posting images or system specs. But here is cpu-z report for DIMM timings and a html link to system specs.

Subnote: I'm aware of 1033/1333 so I'm not aiming for 1600 or major overclocking (that will come later) I set everything back to default including cpu etc, to get my memory in check. I've tried memcheck, editing in bios and that crappy asus boot settings.

Any input would be appretiated. Thanks!

With AMD, if the mobo has XMP, enable it, select profile 1 then go to the DRAM voltage and try it at 1.55, then go to the CPU/NB voltage and set to 1.25 - AMD CPUs have weaker MCs (memory controllers) than do Intel CPUs so need extra voltage to run true performance DRAM
