Finding the right Graphics card for my computer

Solution
That would be enough to run this good budget card, granted its not ancient.

There are a few things you can do. You can get a new power supply and a GPU:

or you can just get a single GPU without having to change the power supply:

The graphics cards have about the same amount of grunt. The GTS250 is an older unit, but still has the raw power to play most games. I have one paired with a budget Intel Celeron G530 and I am able to play Skyrim, Battlefiled Bad Company 2, and other games smoothly. It does...

You will NOT be able to run most games on high settings with a $60-$100 card. You will be fortunate to attain medium to low settings. In addition, as shadow32 mentioned, your CPU basically sucks; you will bottleneck almost anything even capable of running games on high settings.

I suggest saving up for a decent computer with decent specs (feel free to run it by the community first) and putting something decent in it (even $150 graphics would be decent enough).

Sorry to be a killjoy, but this situation has not the solution you were looking for. Quite the contrary, you have no good solution.

I disagree with the above comments. It seems that your processor is about the speed of a Phenom II X4 945, which is a decently good gaming processor.

I'm guessing that your processor is just a tad slower than the A6-3650. On the chart, it ranks with Phenom II X4's and Core2Quads.

Your budget will only allow a Radeon HD7750. It will run on 300W and it is within your pricerange.

What games are you trying to play?

It does lack DirectX11, yet it doesnt really have the power for DX11 anyway.

The 7750 is also a great card as well. It is roughly the same speed according to the chart. This card does support DX11, so newer games would look better. This card will also look better on the power bill, as it does not use much power.

You can even get a new case if you want, or if you have one, you can mount your computer in there, and have your own custom gaming computer made by HP.

I agree with this. The HD 7750 will run most games on medium-medium high settings. I've got a computer with a similar processor, actually the Phenom II. You shouldn't have any problems.
