Pc isn't booting from DVD drive

Recently i was installing windows 7 ultimate (32-bit) in my friends pc the only problem i faced was
after verifying DMI pool data
system just stopped at Boot From CD/DVD :
i checked my drive (it is working fine)
also boot order and also i boot while i HDD was disconnected (read that somewhere)

i manage to install windows in HDD using another system
he told me that once someone repaired his system after then this problem is occurring

can some one tell me
1.whats going on
2.How to fix

well there's a number of possible causes so I shall provide a few links that can help determine key characteristics to this issue that may or may not help in solving it.

If you installed windows to the hdd using a system other than the one the install was meant for, it will not boot because windows is looking for the hardware it saw when you installed it.

In order to correct this, you need to do a fresh install. Put the hdd in your friends system, connect ONLY that hdd and the dvd, boot to windows disc in dvd and then let windows reformat and install to hdd.

my system is working fine now after installing windows
reason of installing windows was previously somebody installed 64 bit windows in that system and that was working just fine but the pc have only 2gb of ram so i tried to install 32 bit windows then the problem occur system just halt at boot form cd/dvd so i connect my HDD to somebody else's pc and then install the windows and then connect my HDD back to my pc and everything is working smoothly now its booting from my HDD no problem again i tried to boot my pc from my boot-able dvd and again its not booting from dvd drive

even if installed on another computer, the HDD will contain a MBR that should still initiate unless the BIOS CMOS information of boot order is incorrect

thanks but this isnt the solution, you gave me solution of when system halt at verifying DMI pool data
but my system halts at boot from CD/DVD just after the system verifies dmi pool data, my dvd drive is working fine i am using it now and it is reading every disk i am inserting even my windows dvd
am i making myself clear if somebody need more info i can provide i never faced this type of problem before so i don't know what info is necessary
