Is this alt least a decent sound card?

I would just like the run down on whats better. I just picked up a Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi PCI (SB073A) (Xtreme Gamer) Because everyone is like "Get sound blaster" Yes, I know it's old tech, but is my onboard graphics Realtek ALC892 better, or should I keep the creative one? I'm also on a tight budget, so I can't be buying a hundred or even 50 dollar card.

The Xtreme Gamer is the cheapest version of the Sound Blaster X-FI series. I personally like it because it takes up half the space and uses the same DAC as the other XFi's until you get into the Titanium or Fatality lines. I would say go for it as the realtek dac and quality is about 25% of what that SB Xfi can do.
