need help loading windows 7

Hi, this may seem like a noob question, but that is because I am a noob. I just replaced my motherboard for a msi z77a gd65 and when I go to the bios and look at "system status" it shows that there is nothing in any of the sata ports when I am sure my ssd,hdd, and cd drive are all plugged in and powered. How can I fix this? Thanks!

when I boot my computer and dont go into the bios, I get a message saying "efi shell version" and it is trying to run "startup.nsh". When I go to the bios and look at the sata ports, it says "not present".
