this is my first build and I want it to be as cost affective as possible. I am working with a Micro ATX case with a sandy bridge i5 2.8-3.1. 1155 socket type

I want something no higher than $100 as I would prefer to spend more on a decent GPU. Any suggestions on a mobo GPU pair?

Solution
Stick with asus, asrock or gigabyte. The others especially msi boards are cheaply made, poorly designed and have the highest customer complaints and etc.

I checked the price on this item and it I could not find it less than $125 I was looking at the Rock Extreme 4 but I did not want to go that high

That MSI looks like a good deal but again another manufacture I hear good and bad with. Do you have good experience with them?

My own idea is ASUS and MSI mother boards better than Gigabyte..I have a good experience with i5-3570K with Asus Z77..So go with ASUS...It's trustworthy and price worthy..Gigabyte is not trustworthy brand for me..
