I am in search for agpu which an play assassin's creed3,cod(all version),farcry3,sniper elite and gw.MY BUDGET IS ONLY 6.5K.(important point)
I found hd6670 1gb DDR5 is a very good one for my purpose.its ranked 10th in top 10 GPUs(http://graphics-cards-review.toptenreviews.com)
But i found that my mobo and processor are almost 5 yrs old and i'm afraid that whether i need to upgrade all other components yo install this 6670.

MOBO:ASUS M2A MX(PCI express is available)
PROCESSOR:AMD SEMPRON
PSU :Mercury 385w.
upgarding other components will cost me abt 15k.(impossible!)

I asked this problem in many computer shops some replied that "if u have pci xprs slot ,nothing to worry (psu is not a big matter)"
some others "pci xprs+u may need to install a cooler master 450w psu(:fou:  WHICH COSTS ABT 3K)"
few said that (and this made me crazy) "u must be a fool yo install hd6670
in ur AMD SEMPRON,and it will harm your mobo within 1yr of installation.psu isn't a big problem.but it is bettet to purchase a low end card costing abt 3k."
the last group said that i can play games smoothly.I also think so,but upto when?
those cards will be outdated within 1 yr from today.

I'm not worried abt the perfomance that will come out of new gpu+old other configs(i think i can upgrade others in 2 yrs)
My basic doubt is that
1.psu
2.mobo and pro
3.if 6670 is not gonna happen now and i need to buy a low end graphic card,THEN WHICH ONE(shader model 5 and directx 11 is must)?
CAN I PLAY MY DREAM GAMES WITH THIS SMALL GPU+OLD OTHER CONFIGS?

Thanks in advance for your kindness and patience.

Your 385 Watt Power Supply is very close to the recommended 400 Watt Power Supply for the HD 6670, so I think it would be fine.

I would like to know the model of the Sempron?

The Sempron that are compatible with that motherboard range from 45 Watts to 65 Watts, so I believe your 385 Watt Power Supply should be fine.

By the way, you did not mention 6.5K Rupees?

I do not believe it will harm your motherboard.

How much RAM(memory) do you have?

The Asus web site says you can upgrade your CPU, when you save up some more money.

http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/M2AMX/#support_CPU

For example:
2 Core CPU Athlon 64 X2 5000+ (DD),1MB,rev.G,65W,SocketAM2
3 Core CPU Phenom X3 8250e (HD8250ODJ3BGH),1.9GHz,rev.B3,65W,SocketAM2+,Triple-Core
4 Core CPU Phenom X4 9350 (HD9350ODJ4BGH),2.0GHz,65W,rev.B3,SocketAM2+,Quad-Core

Note: The Phenom require the BIOS to be 0603 or newer, but that is a free download.

The web site I linked to shows many more, these are just an example.

The proper way, if the BIOS needs to be updated for a new CPU, you update the BIOS and then install the new CPU.
