AMD FX-8350 Vishera Eight-Core CPU
ASUS M5A97 AM3+ Motherboard
CORSAIR 8GB MEM
XFX Radeon HD 7870 2GB
Seagate 1TB HDD
Rosewill 700W PSU
SAMSUNG 24X DVD Burner
Rosewill REDBONE U3 Case
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is all for a total of 698.97. So how is this system performance wise? Am I getting a good deal as well? Also, I understand this is an area for hardware, but what OS should I run (Even if I might upgrade to 16gbs of RAM) if you'd be kind enough to answer? (I won't go Windows 8 though) Thank you! :)

Don't get this PSU, rather get this one : http://us.ncix.com/products/?usaffiliateid=1000031504&sku=59615&vpn=P1550SXXB9&manufacture=XFX&promoid=1190. Aside from that, great build, you'll be able to play all of the actual games on high or ultra settings at 60+ FPS.

Okay great! Thank you. But there's one snag. The PSU comes in a bundle with some of my parts and it saves me a lot of money I can't come up with. Will it still be okay to hang with the original PSU? Were you just suggesting a different one due to a lower price?

I'm suggesting this one because the one that you first wanted to go with is a very poor quality one. You don't want you PSU to blow up and take all of your components with it, do you ?
The bundle isn't worth this risk, if needed cut to an FX-8320, but at least, get a decent PSU.

It's the Rosewill Stallion Series RD700 700W ATX12V V2.3 SLI Ready CrossFire Ready Power Supply. If it could possibly damage my computer or is really that bad, then I'll drop this bundle. Thank you for the warning guys, I wasn't anticipating my computer to possibly explode.
