Hey guys, so i was wondering today, if i could run Hybrid SLI.
I have an i7-2600 (intel HD2k integrated graphics)
And a gt 520 GPU
As you can see, my GPU is woefully inadequate while running games, and i read up on hybrid SLI, and was wondering how i could enable it.
Unfortunately, i had no luck. SO can anyone tell me if i CAN run hybrid SLI and how can i do so? I just want the boost feature, idc the power saving, my GPU tdp is 29W, LOL.
Btw, i have a desktop.
cheers, and thanks in advance!

waste of time. you wont get much in the way of added gaming performance as its already well below spec for todays games. even with hybrid enabled. the 520 is a video card and not gaming grade, not by some margin... if you get 10 fps in say crysis (doubtful) on the 2600k you will likely get 12 fps when you turn on the 520. so no mate its not even worth plugging it in never mind runing it in sli/hybrid.
get a decent gfx card to get the real performance out of your system... 130bux/quid will get you something very capable and will turn your system into a gaming pc rather than its current media pc status.

you wont gain anything with what your thinking, very little power difference and poor video performance no matter what you do

even if hybrid SLI was possible with Intel video + Nvidia video, 2 Crappy video cards will still = crappy performance

just get a decent video card if your gaming or just leave it be otherwise

OKay guys, i get it wont help much but i still wanna do it. I just need that extra 2-5 FPS boost for my current BF3 needs (i want like 25ish, i get 17-20 atm)
Ill be upgrading to a HD7790 in a bit.
Maybe take a few weeks, just wanted a slight boost till then. Can anyone tell me how to get it, or if its even possible?
I mean power is REALLY not a issue, even running BF3my cpu takes like, 50-60W. So lol, thats like a couple light bulbs :p
I really want a gaming pc, LOl. i need to gather a little money now. I also need a better cooler. Im thinking a HyperEVO12
Keep in mind, im in india, electronics here a EXTARAVGANTLY expensive. Like seriously.
The cheapest HD7850 i can get is INR 14000 (with the current rupee falldown, its about $210; before, it was $250-300). Crazy shit. Plus im a high school student, so i dont have a very regular source of income; i get cash off making websites for people and fixing problems, lol.
So basically, for the time being i wanna HYBRID SLI. If anyone can tell me how to do so , it'll be appreciated.

Saw that, does it mean since GT 520 is not listed, it cant be in hybrid?
Damn thats a letdown, i was hopin otherwise.

Not only is the GT520 not listed but Hybrid SLi is a notebook tech, I don't think it has been supported on the desktop for quite some time if it ever was at all. There might have been a couple of motherboards that supported it a few years ago but as it was a pointless idea it died the death it deserved.
