Whenever I shutdown it installs updates.

Solution
Yes this "9C59" is the same code I got when I was dealing with the Internet explorer update too, I'm not at my brother's PC right now and when I tried to fix this by downloading the setup file for the internet Explorer 10 update and manually updating it I couldn't complete the installation, and it said something about another update that was needed so as this update may take place smoothly,

these are the required prerequisites that are needed to install the IE 10 on your PC, ensure your relevant package is downloaded and installed before again trying to install the IE 10 update. keep in Mind the X86= 32 Bit and X64= 64 Bit operating system. Hope this helps.... Good Luck.

check the update KB information and download it manually and install, I think the update fails to install each time due to some error and your PC tries to install it each time you shutdown your PC, I had this problem on my brother's PC and solved it by the above method, see the KB information ie., a random number after the starting letters KB... hope this helps..... Good Luck.

Don't listen to mhtsgr9.. crap advice
If its doing it every time - that suggests that you have one update which is failing to install ... and so keeps on trying each time.
So you need to check out which update it is... if its not important.. you might be able to deselect that specific update so it does not install..
But if it important - you should work through what the problem is and try and get it fixed.

You not provided info on the update/error..so difficult to be more specific.
but HTH
Cheers
