I recently upgraded my RAM and video card with the hopes of increasing performance with video editing rendering and general playback speeds. After installing the RAM and new GPU I have noticed very little difference. I edit video with Premiere CS6 and After Effects CS6. The rendering is taking forever.
I even tried the Cuda hack by adding "GTX 660" to the Cuda video card text list.
Model: HP P7 1447c
Memory: 16GB RAM (Crucial (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3)
Processor: AMD A8-5500
OS: Windows 8 64-bit
GPU: EVGA Geforce GTX 660 SC 2GB
Power Supply: Rosewill Green Series RG530-S12 530W
I have not messed with the custom GPU settings yet because I simply do not know what they mean and don't want to mess anything up.
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.
