Recently I have noticed when I turn on my PC it boots up into BIOS instead of loading up Windows.

This board boots up really fast so by the time I turn on the monitor its already on BIOS, I don't get to see any error messages, also its very random.

Exit BIOS and it will load Windows 7 just fine

could this be a firmware bug in the BIOS? anyone got the same problem?

I am using the latest BIOS version.

Any info would be appreciated

Unplug the keyboard and then try to boot into windows, see how it goes. And remember the CMOS battery thing it is cheap to try and won't hurt you.

The battery is about about 4-5 months old, meaning since I have been using the board, and I think its been a year or less since the board has been released to the market.

so i'm kinda not leaning towards that conclusion.

Sure will give it a try, I will update when I have gathered enough info.

its a random error and will need time and observation
