Hey guys and thank's for reading my question :D

It's my first time overclocking and I want to make sure I am doing it right without frying my system.

I have read a several of articles and videos and I think I know the basics of OC'ing, but I have some questions.

I watched this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nMgQQi380Nc which demostrates a overclock of the same processor as I have, can I follow this for a safe overclock?

Specs:
Gigabyte X58A-UD3R
Intel core I7 930 @ 2,8 ghz (stock)
GTX 680 (stock)
Corsair DDR3 cmx6gx3m3a1333c9 RAM
Corsair H80i CPU Liquid Cooler (Haven't bought one yet, but will be getting ASAP)
CM 690 II Advanced with stock fans

Appreciating ALL help, thank's so much :D

To be safe only overclock it first to 3.2ghz. The max overclocking i would recommend is at 3.6ghz. BUT make sure you install the processor cooler correctly. OTHERWISE you run the risk of buying a new processor.
