My wifi router has a password but my repeater does not.

I have a speedstream wifi router and then a cisco wifi repeater. I have successfully put a password on the speedstream but when connecting to cisco there is no password. Yet when I go to the setup to add one for cisco the IP address leads me back to the speedstream setup page!!! Please help!!!

You should attach a computer directly to the Cisco unit with an Ethernet cable and type the Cisco IP address to get the configuration pages where you can change the security settings.
