I would like to try and build a console sized gaming PC. I love the look of the Alienware x51 but the price is pretty high compared to what I could do on my own. I'm trying to design the case that I want to build, but sadly the PSU is the most difficult part. Most PSU are 5.9" wide, making my total case height about 17", which isn't bad but still a bit larger then what I would like it to be. Does anyone know where I could find a slim 500-600w PSU?

I'm not looking to build a box look though, more like a rectangle. I personally just don't enjoy the look of all the shoe box mini-itx cases. I'm looking to make it skinny and around the size of the x51 but including the PSU inside.
Ya I'm fefinitely trying to find if there are any slim PSUs. Maybe 3-4" wide but 8-9" long
