I'm trying to set up dual monitors and the desktop it's self has 3 DVI ports, though only one works. The desktop has a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 645 external graphics card and tech support told me that as long as it was installed I could not set up dual DVI display. I would describe myself as moderately computer literate, but am unsure as how to go about getting dual monitors on my setup. Any and all suggestions would be great, but my budget is limited so I can't spend a fortune on setting this up. Thanks!

What do you mean by external GPU?

Dedicated? Discrete?

You're bound to also have some HDMI outs too yes? If so, you can use that can't you.

Welcome by the way.

My GE Force 645 has three ports on it. I am presently running two monitors, one from the DVI port and 1 from the HDMI port using a HDMI to DVI connector monitor. This works well. My question is, can I run two additional monitors using the Display Port? Can these monitors be configured to have separate outputs?

have a look at this: http://

it says about multiple monitor support "With a single GeForce GTX 645, you can expand your PC game or workspace across three displays for the ultimate widescreen experience. Add in a fourth accessory display to get access to your email, web, or other applications while you game."
