monitor signal not detected/ no splash screen

So I set up my whole external build, but when I power on my mother board all the fans start up and I have the HDMI connected from the video card to to the monitor however I get no splash screen on the monitor. Does anyone know why this might be or any solutions? Thank you!

I only have 1 HDMI port, both on my video card and my monitor, I have also tried multiple HDMI cables just in case. Thank you
