Hi,

I have a Dell XPS 15 L521X running Windows 8 Pro. Until about 2 hours ago, everything was running fine. Then, suddenly, when I turned my laptop on, I lost ALL wireless network functionality. What I mean by that is that there is nothing shown on my wifi menu screen as shown: http://i.imgur.com/QOdQ8iE.png (I am connected on an ethernet right now, ethernet works fine). I have tried turning my wifi adapter on and off, re-installing the L521X wifi drivers and the Windows troubleshooting. It seems like windows troubleshooting isn't even detecting that I have a wireless adapter on my laptop since it says it can't find any problem!

I am completely at a loss at what to do here. I didn't download anything or install ANYTHING that could have suddenly made my wifi nonexistant. I am not sure if it is a hardware problem or if I downloaded the wrong driver or just don't know how to fix it.

Here's a screenshot of my device manager if that helps: http://i.imgur.com/eMbpFk4.png
Device manager is not showing any unknown driver or driver with an exclamation point on it.

I tried downloading this but it said it could not be installed on my system: http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/04/DriverDetails/Product/xps-15-l521x?driverId=CHHWK&osCode=W864&fileId=3126522156&languageCode=EN&categoryId=NI

Is there any way I can fix this? Thanks for any help!
