Hello everyone.

I've been experiencing an issue, and I am not certain of its cause.

I've purchased a Seasonic X660, a couple of months ago. And everything was fine. I was working, watching movies, listening to music and gaming and I didn't notice any problem with the PSU.

But just yesterday I moved to another neighbourhood and I noticed (since yesterday) that randomly my psu would make a coil whine, a high pitch buzz.
This noise has happened three times since I moved and only for a minute or so each time. The interval between occurrences has been random, but always longer than 1-2 hours.

I thought that I would not have this problem now that I'm living right in the centre of my city. But it happened and I want to ask if you think it's the psu going bad, or it's just fluctuation in the grid.

I do have to note, that I live in Brazil and our grid is really bad, but I thought that it would be better in the centre of a city than on the suburbs.

Also I called my father to ask if he could hear the noise, and he just glared at me and said there was no noise and that I was going crazy. I know I have quite good hearing, I can hear when my neighbour's old TV (CRT) is on because of the hiss.

Oh and I am a mechanical engineer working at a university lab and we are extremely well equipped (we even have a super high precision power meter/oscilloscope [WT3000, this thing costs $27k] to calibrate high precision power meters. We also have all sorts of electrical components and tools to fix acquistion systems, motherboards, graphic cards, etc.. So if anyone knows of a solution I would be glad to hear and I think we might be able to try it at my lab.

And finally I think RMA is out of question for me, last time I did it with a SSD I had to pay $200 in taxes (welcome to Brazil), which was the price of the actual SSD.

Sorry for the long post, but I wanted to be as thorough as possible.

I hope someone can answer my question. Thanks in advance!
