I got this brand new PC two months ago and last night it was first time to try batch render in maya and seems to be okay. But when it finishes batch render I tried editing it in After Effect to convert into a video. and i also tried editing it to other video editing software. and when i opened the pc the other day it starts freezing every few second for almost 10 seconds minimum.

I uses
Windows 8
Intel Core i&-3770 CPU @ 3.40GHz
4GB RAM

it freezes sometimes when im doing any actions even the simple ones like clicking or opening an application.

im afraid that maybe my RAM was fried in the batch render process?
because i noticed that maya eats the RAM when using batch render. :(

i dont know if im on the right section, but please guys help me

and also one thing, I cannot also visit any website. but when i tried connecting in some game client a have a connection, im also thinking maybe i also get a virus after installing after effects...

Solution
Might want to even uninstall Bitdefender - can take a look at AVG Free - they have a free version - just don't click the ACCEPT the free trial offer during install - it will limit you to 30 days and have to reinstall

so you mean its possible that the anti virus itself was causing those things?

if this works do you have any suggestion what free anti-virus software that is best to use?
