Hello, last month I bought 2 samsung 840 pros 512 GB to put them in raid 0. My friend and I had put them in the marvell ports thinking they were better. However, I am finding that the intel are so much faster. My read/write times are about ~30% lower than what they should be.

My question is, can I switch the ports from marvell to intel without losing any data?

If the Marvel ports are the only ones that are supplying your RAID chipset (Normally the case) then you wont be able to move them to the Intel ports for raid. So check your manual and see whats up.

But mine do have the intel ports. I listed the storage devices up above.
