Firstly, I am thinking of getting a second 6850 to crossfire it with my current HIS hd 6850. I only have a enermax naxn 600w PSU. Would it suffice? Also, my second PCIE slot is only x4. Would that cause any SIGNIFICANT performance drop? Secondly, I need to get a new hard drive. Would you all recommend me to get 2 separate hard drives, or just use a single terabyte caviar blue hard drive for my OS and games. Would that result in any performance drop?

If your second slot is only x4 i guess the first is x8, anyway when you crossfire two cards, it is automatcly lowerd to x4 so there is really no big deal on that. (i think i am speaking correctly)
Having two hard drives in RAID is never to recommended for a home PC, that is something you see on a server were a lot of data is moving quickly, getting a 1TB disk would save you money.

The above poster is correct regarding your PCIE being just fine. Modern PCIE slots provide more bandwidth than a card can use anyway. No issue there. Your power supply should also be able to handle the load.

Regarding your drive... I'd recommend a little of both! Pick up a Caviar (I have a 1TB Black myself, and it's a really solid performer), and use that for your general data storage and games. Get yourself a decently priced SSD (64GB is all you need), and install your OS onto that. This will give you a great jump in performance when it comes to booting and general PC useability. You can use any extra space you have on that (don't fill it past 60%) for things like your web browser or maybe your favorite game.

The other advantage a SSD boot drive provides is you can do a clean installation of your OS at any point, for any reason, and you won't have to re-download or reinstall all your games!
