A dedicated Sound Card, does it worth it?

Want to ask, I'm getting an ASRock X79 Extreme11 w/Creative Sound Core3D, its max output is 7.1 channels, I want to play BF4 and CoD" Ghosts on Scout Mode, but will it worth buying a dedicated sound card like ASUS Xonar Essence STX or ASUS ROG Phoebus Solo?
I am an audiophile, want to listen to music in high quality, don't want a high Signal-to-noise ratio, and want to play FPS in 7.1 channel (or maybe use Scout Mode, don't know what's the difference)..
Any help?

My friend bought the ASUS Essence card and he said it's an amazing card. I'm pretty sensitive to sound so to me; yeah it's worth the buy. But maybe you aren't that sensitive to sound and stuff, so it might be a pointless buy for you. Personally I like sound cards. I have the Z87-GD65 and it comes with a soundcard installed (3rd party) and once I installed drivers it made a world of difference on tweeters and low-freq sounds ( I have a high-class set of headphones) so yeah it's worth it to me.

A good way to check your sensitivity to sounds do this: Find a song on youtube that has a 480p, 720p and 1080p option to choose from. Then play both and if you can tell the difference then yes, you are sensitive to sound.

I need a justification for buying a dedicated sound card for the motherboard, I own a Beats DETOX Limited Edition which I bought for $640, and I only listen to 320kbps MP3s, some VR .M4As and .FLAC audio, I accept nothing less, I'm pretty sound sensitive as well..
