XFX R7870 DD Temp Issues

The title says it all. The GPU gets to over 100c 2 minutes after opening Dirt 3, F1 2012, Far Cry 3 and GTA 4. Even with the fans at 100%, the lowest it will get to is 99c. Highest, 102c. I have taken my side panel off to see if it would make any difference, but the temps stay the same. I have seen many benchmarks that suggest that this graphics card doesn't go over 75-80c when under heavy load, and frankly, I never expected it to get this high. It all seems to be absolutely fine, but these temperatures aren't normal. If you have one (With the Tahiti chip), please tell me what you get at full load. I can't seem to get it under 45 degrees at idle either.

Contact the supplier for a warranty return, the DD cooler is not the best out there but my 7950 DD stays below 75C@60% even with 30C ambient.
The high idle is fairly normal, I get 41C at the moment BTW.
At 100% you should need hearing protection!

If possible RMA, something is not right. Things like these could effect you in the long run, so get hold of the company.
