Hi everyone. Ever since 3 days, my Dell Inspiron 537 desktop is making some weird things. Ok, so the computer boots up normally, and then after 5 or so minutes of working on the computer, the mouse freezes, the keyboard is unresponsive, forcing me to hold down the power button, and restart. The computer restarts, but again after 5 minutes or so, the screen goes black, blue screen appears for 10 seconds (I can't even read what it says), and computer restarts. It either sends me to a System Repair, or it freezes again. If I do a system repair, the computer works normally, but I can't do that every time I use it. Why is this happening? If you need any more details, please say so. Thanks in advance!

delete all the pre installed dell software that came with the machine, its all crapware and is often the cause of many problems.

once you have done this download and run ccleaners file cleaner then the registry cleaner multiple times till it finds no errors.

no, don't do what mauller07 says... it's only a half-fix

you need to reinstall the OS fresh and clean after deleting the partition it's on

then install all motherboard/chipset drivers
then install all windows updates

only then will you have a base to see if you have a hardware issue

Ok, so here is what I did. I uninstalled a program which I installed just two days before the problems started happening. It didn't change a thing. I ran a Windows Memory Diagnostic just in case. the first time it told me I had a hardware problems, but I never found the results when I logged in. I even looked using the Event Viewer, but nothing. Then, I ran it again, and it detected no problems. This time the message popped up from the toolbar. I'm going to see what happens in the next few start ups, and maybe I'll do a reinstall.
